Inspired by the West End’s Korean shops, restaurants and karaoke bars.
Our Warren St local burger is a burger with bulgogi BBQ bacon, American cheese, gochujang burger sauce, kimchi, nigella seeds, lettuce and your choice of Honest beef, fried chicken or double smashed.
The first Honest was us cooking at a friend’s party in a tent in a field in Brighton. We weren’t trained chefs, we just loved cooking. On Brixton’s opening day, Tom flipped burgers and Phil waited tables. Six years on, we’re still here, still cooking, still learning.

Bulgogi (bul·go·gi). noun.
A traditional Korean marinade. We make ours with gluten-free soy sauce, sugar, onion, sesame oil and garlic.
Kimchi (kim·chee). noun.
The famous tangy condiment. Ours is the real-deal, made in South Korea.
Gochujang (go·chu·jang). noun.
A fermented chilli paste used in lots of Korean dishes. We add a bit to our homemade burger sauce to bring down the heat and elevate the meatiness.
